Regional Exercises 2012 – Cork West, 15th October 2012

Cork West Civil Defence hosted the sixth and final 2012 Regional Exercise on Saturday 13th October in the environs of Skibbereen. The exercise incorporated five competitive sites comprising:

· Footdrill
· AFS/Portable Pump
· Team Task
· Rescue/Casualty
· Communications

Cork City, Cork North, Cork South and Kerry units competed. At the end of an Exercise which tested and showcased the capabilities and skills of the competitors the Cork City team emerged victorious. Presentations were made to the winning team at a Presentation Dinner in the West Cork Hotel, Skibbereen.
