Charleville Show

A great day at Charleville Agricultural Show again on Sunday 26th June. Cork North Civil Defence got to meet a lot of people and showcase the units capabilities and resources. The volunteers had a very enjoyable day, especially with potential new Boat crews, Ambulance crews and AFS crews.


Mayo Search & Rescue Operation

On Monday afternoon, 27th June Mayo Civil Defence was activated by Claremorris Gardaí to a high priority missing person search in the Ballyhaunis area. 23 members of Civil Defence from Mayo, Galway and Roscommon units responded from across the region. Limerick Garda Station – Open Night

Henry Street Garda Station, Limerick was a hive of activity on Friday night, 17th June for all the right reasons. Hundreds of people attended the ‘Open Night’ at the City Centre station as part of the force’s centenary celebrations. Limerick Civil Defence was invited along and displayed a wide and varied selection of equipment.
