Cork North & East was activated yesterday afternoon by An Garda Síochána, Mallow to assist them and the local fire service with flood relief in the Mallow area. The Unit responded quickly and a number of volunteers took up various tasks in the Mallow area. Great interagency work by all.

The Tánaiste and Minister for Defence Micheál Martin TD made Code of Practice Regulations SI 371 of 2023 in accordance with section 10 (1) of the Civil Defence Act 2023.
