Pilot Information Management Officers, Train the Trainer Course

Civil Defence Officers and Communications Instructors took part in the pilot Information Management Officers, Train the Trainer course on Saturday 7th March.  The course, facilitated by members of the PRA’s, discussed the Information Management System utilised through the Framework for Major Emergency Management.  Participants honed skills developed through e-learning and classroom sessions to deliver information workflow during tabletop exercises.  The course provides Civil Defence with a system of managing and recording information from multiple sources whether for normal operations or while responding in support of the Principal Response Agencies.
