Personal Survival Techniques (PST) Course

The new Civil Defence specific Personal Survival Techniques (PST) course continues to be rolled out to all Civil Defence boat crew at the National Maritime college of Ireland, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. A number of units have now successfully completed the PST course which is a new requirement under the Specific Operational Guidance (SOG) document for boating in Civil Defence. Congratulations to the Cork West crew Who are the latest unit to complete the training. A special thanks to Cork City boat unit for putting themselves forward as the Guinea pigs on the pilot course.
