Monaghan – Search & Recovery, Lough More Lake

Monaghan Civil Defence responded to a request for assistance from the Gardaí & the PSNI to provide a boat to search for a person reported missing in Lough More lake on the border with Northern Ireland. A boat crew of three was mobilised at noon on Wednesday 20th April. The boat crew searched specific locations on the lake indicated by the PSNI & Garda.
At approximately 1.30pm the body of a male was located and recovered by the Monaghan Civil Defence boat crew.
Monaghan Civil Defence was thanked for their assistance by the family members and the Gardaí.
