Rosslare Search Operation

22 November 2021

Wexford Civil Defence was activated by An Garda Síochána to assist in the search for a missing person in Rosslare on Friday 19th November. Drone crews and land searchers conducted extensive searches on Saturday 20th, and the Boat Crews searched sandbanks and water in the vicinity of Wexford Harbour on Sunday 21st. The search is ongoing.


Peter Deady, Cork South R.I.P.

South Cork Civil Defence Unit, Commander Peter Deady sadly passed away on Saturday 20th November. Peter gave over 40 years of his life to the organisation and will be sadly missed by his colleagues in Civil Defence. Rest in Peace.
