Leitrim – Assistance to Cruiser on River Shannon

On Monday 20th July, Leitrim Civil Defence was requested to provide assistance to a Cruiser reported drifting without power in the Battlebridge area on the River Shannon. The Leitrim Boat Crew responded and located a 37 ft Cruiser adrift with five persons on board. Assistance was provided and the cruiser regained power.

The Cruiser was not damaged and no injuries were reported
