Cycling Responder Course – Cork North & East Civil Defence

Cork North & East hosted three guest instructors Bob Flynn and Elizabeth Hanley from Offaly Civil Defence and Terrence O’ Connor from Kerry Civil Defence who shared their time, knowledge, skills and experience so generously to teach and certify 15 of our volunteers in the Civil Defence and Cycling Ireland responder course. The course was interesting, challenging and enjoyable. Huge thanks to all the volunteers who showed their commitment and great teamwork throughout the weekend. A special thanks to  Munster Driving Campus who allowed Civil Defence to use their off road facility for valuable scenario training in a safe environment.
