Cork West Skills Camp 2015

The Cork West Civil Defence Unit skills camp was held on Bere Island on the weekend of  19th-20th September. The camp focussed on the fundamental areas of Search Response, Radio Communications, First Aid & Casualty, Navigation and Footdrill.

There were also briefs on Critical Incident Stress Management and Health & Safety, and an Inter-Agency training exercise with Castletownbere Coastguard unit.
