Cork South – Kinsale to Baltimore Training Exercise & Meeting with Minister Coveney

On Saturday, 14^th August the Cork South Civil Defence Boat Unit conducted a training exercise from Kinsale to Baltimore with a stop to Cape Clear Island. When on Cape Clear, volunteers got the opportunity to meet and talk about the future of Civil Defence with Minister for Defence Simon Coveney. A great day was had by all and many thanks to all volunteers for their time and dedication in the past few weeks to make this exercise a success.

Members on the exercise included Conor Dolan, Polina Yalovaya, Zak Kanoute, Cochise Rahametan, Philip Leahy, Peter Losberg (Cork West CD), John Kearney (Cork South CDO).
