Carlow Search Operation

Carlow Civil Defence was activated to assist in a search for a missing person at 9am on Wednesday 13th May.   A river search was conducted using two boats, one of which was equipped with sonar.  A search of the river banks was also conducted with a total of 12 volunteers active. Carlow Civil Defence received assistance from the Coastguard and the Garda Sub Aqua Unit.

The body was recovered at 6pm,  R.I.P.
