Carlow Search Operation

Carlow Civil Defence was activated on Wednesday morning, 22nd January to assist in the search of the River Barrow for a missing woman. Two Civil Defence Boats are conducting the search and the Drone Unit was in operation following the clearance from the foggy weather conditions.

Two Civil Defence teams searched the River Bank in the afternoon.

The Garda Sub Aqua Unit recovered the body from the River shortly after 4pm. May she rest in peace.
