Carlow Civil Defence Search and Recovery Operation, January 2014

On Sunday morning 6th January Carlow Civil Defence responded to a request from Gardaí to assist in the search for an elderly man reported missing.
11 Civil Defence personnel and 3 4WD Vehicles were deployed to assist the 8 Gardaí who led the search. The body of the missing man was recovered at approximately 4.15 pm and the search team was stood down.
