New Roscommon Civil Defence Officer

Fergal Conroy has commenced work as the new Civil Defence Officer in Roscommon. He replaces Ray Dunne who retired earlier this year. Fergal has been a volunteer with Laois Civil Defence for over 30 years. He has also served as the volunteer representative on the Civil Defence Inter Agency Guidance Team.

First Duty of Enniscorthy Unit

Well done to the volunteers from the new Enniscorthy unit of Wexford Civil Defence who completed their first official first aid duty on Sunday 21st July. The unit provided ambulance and first aid cover for the Enniscorthy 6KM road race.

Meath – Leinster Fleadh
