Missing Person Search – Roscommon

Roscommon Civil Defence were called by the Gardaí at 12:08 on Friday 16th November 2018 to search for a man who was reported missing the previous evening. Missing Person Search – Kildare

Civil Defence Volunteers from the Laois, Wicklow and Dublin units assisted their Kildare colleagues on Friday 16th November in the search for a missing person. Land and water searches of the area were conducted which resulted in the recovery of a body.
Dublin Training Exercise – Plane Crash Scenario, Furry Glen

On Tuesday night, 13th November, Dublin Civil Defence rescue units from Rathra and Swords carried out a simulated plane crash exercise in the Furry Glen. The logistics unit provided emergency lighting. The exercise consisted of the search and rescue of six casualties and the search for aircraft debris, including the black box.
