Kilkenny – Missing Person Search

Kilkenny Civil Defence has been assisting An Garda Siochana for over a week with a missing person search. That search ended this morning following the recovery of a body. However, today, Friday 6th February Kilkenny Civil Defence has again been activated by An Garda Síochána to assist in the search for another missing person.

Galway – Missing Person Search

The body of a missing man was recovered from the Eglington Canal by members of the Garda Underwater Unit on Friday 23rd January. Galway Civil Defence had assisted the Gardaí in the search for the missing person for a number of days since his last sighting on 5th January on Mainguard Street in Galway City.
