Training with Irish Coast Guard – July 2025

On Wednesday 2nd July Cork North & East, Cork City, Cork West and Kerry Civil Defence units were invited by the Interagency Emergency Management Office to attend a training session with the Irish Coast Guard, Rescue 115 from Shannon. It was a great learning experience for all who attended.

Cork Summer Show 15-16 June

Cork North & East Civil Defence showed the visitors to the Cork Summer Show some of their skills and their equipment. The Drone Team assisted the Gardaí and event management with the monitoring of the car park and traffic flow onto the site. Among the visitors was Tánaiste Micheál Martin.
Lourdes Pilgrimage 2025

More than 60 Officers and Volunteers from across the country travelled to Lourdes last Thursday, 15th May as part of the annual International Military Pilgrimage. Some 18,000 Military and Civil Protection personnel from across the world participate in this annual gathering in a spirit of peace and reconciliation.
