Kerry Civil Defence – Avian Flu Call Out

Kerry Civil Defence was activated on Tuesday 27^th September, assisting Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine staff who were collecting dead birds which were washed up on beaches in the Dingle area. Five volunteer members of the unit were active for three hours utilising two Four Wheel Drive Vehicles.
