Wexford – Agricultural Show & Pony Trials – July 2014

Bannow & Rathangan Agricultural Show:
Wexford Civil Defence provided Ambulance and First Aid cover for the 65th Bannow & Rathangan Agricultural Show on Thursday 10th July, attended by over 20,000 people.

  • 23 members on duty for a 12 ½ hour period
  • 3 Civil Defence Ambulances
  • Civil Defence Radio Network utilised as part of vital Communications role.
  • First-Aid duties included manning a medical tent provided by the organisers and working with the Doctor on duty at the show

The organisers of the show expressed their gratitude to all Civil Defence members who carried out their duties in such a professional manner on the day.

Adamstown County Show and Pony Trials:

Ambulance and First-Aid cover was also provided for Adamstown Co. Show and Pony trials in New Ross over the first two weeks of July.
