Sligo – Social Services, Meals on Wheels

On 13^th and 14^th January Sligo Civil Defence used a 4WD Vehicle to assist Social Services volunteers in their delivery of hot meals to their clients who were cut off by the heavy overnight snow falls.

It was a very welcome assistance for both the Social Service volunteers tasked to deliver the hot meals and the recipients who were delighted the hot meals made it to their homes.
