Search Operation – Newport, Co Tipperary

Tipperary Civil Defence was mobilised on Sunday 28th June to assist Newport Gardaí in the search for a missing person. Units from Nenagh, Thurles, Clonmel and Ballingarry were mobilised with 27 volunteers responding. The search also includes Killaloe & Doolin Coast Guard units, three SARDA units, Tipperary SAR, Rescue 115 and An Garda Síochána.

The search has been stood down pending further investigations by An Garda Síochána.
