Missing Person Search – Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny

Kilkenny Civil Defence are assisting the Gardaí in the search for a 33-year-old man who is reported to have entered the River Nore in the early hours of Sunday morning, 18th January . 15 Civil Defence volunteers assisted in the search in the Thomastown area. Volunteers, including a boat crew, commenced searching at 3.30 am on Sunday morning and continued searching until 5 pm.

Civil Defence volunteers will be resuming their search on Tuesday morning, 20th January.
