Missing Person Search, Kilworth, Cork

Cork North & East Civil Defence volunteers assisted as part of a multi-agency search of dense woodland in the environs of Kilworth, Co Cork. late on Saturday night, 6th April. Volunteers were back on the search site at first light on sunday morning 7th April and shortly before 10am the person was located by local people in dense woodland and brought to safety.

A great outcome for all concerned. Agencies involved were An Garda Síochánan, National Ambulance Service,Guileen Coast Guard, Youghal Coast Guard, Rescue 115, Irish Search Dogs, MSAR, Army personnel, Cork North & East Civil Defence, Blackwater SAR and Munster Lowland Search Dogs and the local community.
