Missing Person Search – Athlone

Roscommon Civil Defence together with Westmeath Civil Defence in a joint search of the Shannon, south of Athlone. Civil Defence drones were used to search some inassessable areas of the Shannon now in flood while a search dog was used from the boat.

Special thanks to Galway & Cavan Civil Defence for assisting and providing the drones and to Dublin Civil Defence for providing their search dog Max.

The search continues.
