Major Emergency Exercise at Ireland West Airport Knock (IWAK)

On Tuesday evening 17th November Mayo Civil Defence participated in a Major Emergency Exercise at the Ireland West Airport, Knock.

The exercise involved the Airport Authorities and The Primary Response Agencies (Mayo Co Co – Fire Services, An Garda Síochána, HSE National Ambulance Services).

Civil Defence provided logistical / transport support and observed the operation at the onsite co- ordination centre.
