Kerry Flood Relief Efforts – Killorglin

Kerry Civil Defence were activated at 1.15 am on Tuesday morning 17^th April to assist the Killorglin Fire Service to deploy sandbags for houses in Killorglin town. Civil Defence responded with 1, 4WD Vehicle and 1 Truck with 200 filled sandbags and 4 volunteers deployed. The crew returned to Civil Defence Headquarters, Tralee at 4.30 am and remained on Stand-By until 6.30 am – high tide.
