Hagguland All Terrain Vehicle Tasked to Kerry

15 October 2015

Dublin Civil Defence and Kerry Civil Defence worked together with great efficiency on Wednesday 14th October to assist the 16 families cut off by a landslide in Rossbeigh Co. Kerry. The Hagguland was tasked to make a route for a jeep to assist the community in the event of an emergency. The route was made a lot easier as a result of the expertise of both Civil Defence units.

Kerry Civil Defence has been working closely with Kerry County Council at the landslide site and Civil Defence Officer, Tom Brosnan is a member of the response emergency committee set up by the County Manager.
