Galway Search & Rescue – August 2014

On the morning of 24th August 2014 Galway Civil Defence was activated to assist An Garda Síochána in a search for a missing young male in the Menlough area of Co. Galway.
Members from the Ballinasloe and Clonberne Civil Defence units responded to search and provide medical cover during the search period. A total of 350 local people took part in the search.
The search was stood down on Monday morning when the young male turned up safe and well.
