Galway Search and Recovery Operation

On Sunday evening 15^th October 2023, Galway Civil Defence was activated by An Garda Síochána to assist with a search for a missing person at the River Clare in Claregalway.

The Galway RIB and crew responded to conduct a search of the area. One male was recovered by Galway Fire and Rescue Swiftwater Team from the water.

May he rest in peace.
