Emergency Services Day, Galway

On Saturday 8th June, the MEM Region 3 (Galway, Mayo and Roscommon) Steering Group hosted a Volunteer Emergency Services Day at Galway Racecourse.

The purpose of the day was for each service to display their capabilities to the Steering Group and to the other Volunteer services.

A good attendance and representation from Civil Defence, Irish Coastguard, RNLI, Red Cross, Order of Malta, St. Johns Ambulance Galway Mountain Rescue, Mayo Mountain Rescue and SARDA.

Civil Defence was represented by the Galway, Mayo and Roscommon Units.
