Dublin – Missing Person Exercise

A major joint Garda- Civil Defence missing persons search exercise was held in the Phoenix Park area on Saturday 7th March. Over 40 Garda and 70 Civil Defence volunteers took part. There were also talks given by the Alzheimer’s Society, the Missing Persons helpline and the Peggy Mangan Foundation. A wide range of equipment was used during the exercise including boats, a search dog, UAVs, catering trailers and command and control vehicles.
