Dublin Civil Defence – Homeless Shelter

The Dublin Civil Defence Cold Weather Shelter opened on Friday night, 2^nd November 2018. The shelter will remain open 7 days a week until March 2019. The Shelter is manned by a minimum of two Civil Defence Volunteers each night with three contract employees from the Homeless Section. Tea, Coffee, Soup and Sandwiches are provided on arrival and a cold breakfast in the morning – the welfare food is provided by the contractors.
