Donegal Civil Defence Severe Weather Response (11th February – 12th February 2014

Donegal Civil Defence were placed on standby by the Local Authority and Ambulance Service yesterday evening to respond to severe weather snow related calls in County Donegal.
Since 8am this morning, Wednesday 12th February six Civil Defence volunteer members have been deployed using 3 4WD Jeeps transporting ‘home help’ to visit the elderly in their homes throughout east Donegal.
