Cork City Civil Defence – AXA Roadsafe Roadshow – November 2013

The AXA Roadsafe Roadshow took place in front of an audience of over a thousand teenagers from secondary schools in Cork City & County on Tuesday 19th November 2013. The event is organised by Cork City Fire Brigade and An Garda Síochána and its aim is to deliver a hard-hitting road safety message to all who attend.

The ‘scene’ is based on a simulated car crash, depicting how an ordinary night out can end in tragedy and told as a graphic sequence of events unfolds – by a Garda, Ambulance Personnel, Fire Officer, an Accident and Emergency Consultant and a representative from a victim support group.
