Mayo Civil Defence – Chain of Survival

Mayo Civil Defence Volunteers completed an essential link in the Chain of Survival last Sunday during a cycle race when a 39-year old cyclist suffered a cardiac arrest; the patient is making a full recovery in hospital. This is evidence that all the training and having the equipment works, and in this instance the key were the dedicated volunteers from Mayo Civil Defence. Congratulations to you all !
