Wexford Civil Defence – Search & Rescue Activity, March 2010 5 Civil Defence Boats were launched in New Ross to assist in the search for a missing person over the weekend of 6th –7th March 2010. 20 Civil Defence Volunteers assisted up to seven Gardaí and 60 Civilians in a land search of the surrounding areas.
"Big Freeze" Activity Part 7 The following is a summary of Civil Defence activities in the worst affected areas for Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th January 2010:
EFR Class - Cork City Civil Defence

Missing Person - Craig, Newport, Co Tipperary On 6th March 2010 at 13.16hrs North Tipperary Civil Defence were contacted by Newport Gardai who requested assistance in the search for a missing person in the Craig area, near Newport Co Tipperary.
